PUB rock is loud, proud and sweaty.
And Diamond Valley band MissAndretti is happy to fly the flag.
"We're a traditional pub rock band. We're not trying to do anything too flash," drummer Daniel Emond, 20, said.
The five-piece has been gigging for about 18 months and played with legendary rockers The Angels in a sold-out show at the Chelsea Heights Hotel last Saturday.
"It's incredible; it feels pretty good," Emond, of Hurstbridge, said.
The hard-rocking band has just released a six-song EP and has another big show lined up with the Hoodoo Gurus on Saturday, August 30, at the Chelsea Heights Hotel.
"I'm sure we'll pick up a lot of tips playing with bands of that calibre," Emond said.
Diamond Valley locals can see the boys play at St Andrews Hotel on Saturday, August 9.
